Bishop Ireton High School is a Roman Catholic High School founded in 1964 by the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales. Today the school is managed by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Arlington. The George Washington Masonic National Memorial is a Masonic building dedicated to George Washington, the first President of the United States. The memorial sits upon Shooter’s Hill. Construction began in 1922 and was not completed fully until 1970. The memorial was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 2015.
